A Passion for Chocolate, A Love for the Amazon
Roots in Brazil
Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, my journey with chocolate began early, inspired by my homeland’s vibrant flavours and traditions. This passion led me to the art of chocolate making, deepening my connection to cacao and the Brazilian Amazon.
Culinary Exploration
My passion for food took me to culinary school, where I discovered cacao’s unique ability to evoke wonder and sensory delight. It was here that my dream of sharing Brazilian cacao began.
A Journey to Ireland
In 2017, I moved to Ireland, drawn to its innovative food culture. Here, I founded Raízes Chocolate Makers, a brand rooted in my Brazilian heritage and love for ethically sourced chocolate.
The Search for Native Cacao
Determined to use native cacao, I connected with a cooperative that shares my commitment to sustainability. This partnership, built on shared values, has been essential to bringing the essence of the Amazon to Raízes.
